Application:
1.  Are there those who you have shared the Lord with and discipled in His Word so that they are letters from God that all men can read, just by their lives and testimonies?
2.  If not, begin to share your knowledge of the Scriptures with others and help them grow in their walk with the Lord. It is the greatest reward in being His servant, passing the life of the Spirit and the power of the Word on to others. If you don't feel adequate for this, ask yourself if Paul did? No, he knew God made him adequate (equipped) and the Lord will do the same for you as you spend time in His Word, prayer, and fellowship with believers. Do you realize this calling in your life to become equipped to help others so that all can read our lives and come to want to know Him as well? What will you do to help yourself become adequate (equipped)?
3.  As you read about the Law of God that came through Moses in the Old Testament fading and being replaced by God's Spirit of Grace in Jesus, what thoughts come to your mind? Are you experiencing chains and bondage, feeling condemned and unable to meet all the requirements of the Law? Have you realized that Jesus completely satisfied the Father by meeting every requirement on your behalf? That is why in Christ Jesus, there is the Spirit of Liberty. You are free and no longer under the condemnation of the law. If you have not experienced this realization, start off this new year with that newness of the Spirit and let the shackles fall. Amen. Jesus has set you free.
4.  Do you realize that as you look into the Word of God, into Jesus who is God's Word, His expression of love, grace, and forgiveness - you are changed not immediately but from glory to glory. What ways will you determine to walk in this year to look into His way in His word to experience this change and liberty in His Spirit of Grace?
