Have you had someone like Paul take "pains" to be like a mother and/or a father to you in the Gospel? If not, do you long to have a mentor like that? Maybe the Lord is preparing you to be that kind of person to another. I pray that everyone is open to be a spiritual parent to another believer. When we stand before the Lord one day, those who we have ministered to and brought to the Lord will be our hope, our crown of exultation, our joy. Can you think of people that will bring that joy to you when they are standing before the Lord because of the labor of love you have been in their lives?

Think about this chapter and give a summary of what you have learned. How will this effect your life and ministry from now on? Please share and post a prayer if you would like
