Exodus 29 - Consecration of the Priests

5. Back to Exodus 29. What were the 7 items that Moses was to put on Aaron? vs.5-6

9. What did Aaron and his sons do before the tent of meeting before the bull was slaughtered? vs. 10
Note: The laying on of hands indicates a transference of something. Sometimes of authority, other times it is a transference of healing. Here it is a transference of the guilt of sin. Their sins are being put on the animal in the same way that Jesus took our sins upon Himself on the cross.

Application
46. As priests unto the Lord, we have a responsibility to minister to the Lord in the Holy of Holies as we enter by the blood of the Lamb. We offer our bodies a living sacrifice as an acceptable worship to Him. We dress in the Lord daily and we "put on" the things that will cause us to live a holy life unto the Lord. We dress in the armor of light. As we go out, anointed by the Holy Spirit, we are a sweet smelling aroma to the Lord. We are the fragrance of Christ to the saved and to those who are perishing. What a fulfilling life we have; a purpose in life. May we have that awareness today and always day by day. What a mighty God we serve!
- Revelation 1:6 -
