2 JOHN 1     How does John refer to himself as he begins this 2nd letter? vs. 1 How does John describe the recipients of this letter? vs. 1 Who loves the chosen lady and her children other than John? vs. 1 Note: If all love her, then she is someone we are all identified with. Most believe this is a reference to the Bride of Christ and the children of God, meaning the "church". What is this letter written for? vs. 2 What 3 greetings does John send to the church? vs. 3 How will these things be with us? vs. 3 What had made John, the elder, very glad? vs. 4 What commandment does John ask the lady (church) to walk in? vs.5,6 John said that many 'deceivers' had gone out into the world.
