This chapter has been full of promises that have been made to us that have been born again by the seed of God's Word and faith in Christ Jesus. We have an inheritance reserved in heaven for us; it is undefiled and will not fade away. Jesus told His disciples that He would go away to prepare a place for them and He would return to take them there. Because of these great promises, we are exhorted by Peter to live a life full of hope and obedience, even if we are distressed by trials. How has this chapter encouraged your faith today?
