Hebrews 1    


  1. How did God speak to the fathers long ago? vs. 1

  2. How has God spoken to us in these last days? vs. 2

  3. What did God appoint Jesus the heir of? vs. 2

  4. Who did God create the world through? vs. 2

  5. What 3 things are said about Jesus to show His diety? vs. 3

  6. What did Jesus do after He made purification of sins? vs. 3

  7. Who had Jesus become "much better than"? vs. 4

  8. What kind of Name did Jesus inherit? vs. 4

  9. God did not speak to any angel the way He spoke to His Son, Jesus. He told Him "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You." He said again, "I will be a Father to Him and He shall be a Son to Me." (vs.5) Who does God say is to worship Jesus? vs. 6

  10. How does God explain the role of angels? vs. 7

  11. What does God call His Son in the first line of verse 8?

  12. God said that the throne of Jesus would be forever and that the Scepter of His Kingdom was righteous and everlasting. (vs. Why did God anoint Jesus with the oil of gladness above His companions? vs. 9

  15. Who created the Heavens? vs. 10

  16. The heavens and earth will perish, but Jesus will remain. They will become old like a garment. (vs.11) What will Jesus do to the heavens? vs. 11

  17. Like a garment, the heavens will be changed. Will Jesus ever change? vs. 12

  18. How long will the kingdom of Jesus last? vs. 12

  19. God did not tell the angels to sit at His right hand. What did He tell His Son, Jesus, to do? vs. 13

  20. We are told more about the role of angels. What kind of spirits are they and who are they sent out to render service to?

  21. How does it feel to know that angels are sent out to help you in this way? Do you think you have ever had an angel's help? If so, why don't you share it with us.

  22. Reading this chapter shows us that God the Father called His Son Jesus - God and Lord - it is clear that He is Diety - part of God Himself. He will reign forever and His kingdom will never end. Do you belong to His Kingdom? Do you exalt His Name above every other Name and power in heaven or on earth? End this summary with not only a prayer, but praise to our Jesus, the everlasting King. Amen \o/
