What a wonderful and victorious chapter this is! I know we all want to get ourselves ready to be His bride. How do we do that? Read I Corinthians 3:9-15. What do you learn? ... and then Read 2 Corinthians 5:10. What do you learn? ...There are 5 crowns mentioned that a believer can receive; there are numerous rewards for things such as persecution, being a faithful witness, teacher, pastor, etc. We even get rewards for giving a drink of water to the least of His disciples. The test is if it is for His glory or for our own? Things done with the wrong motive will burn up; things done for Him will remain and be rewarded.
