Revelation Worksheet - Chapter 7




REVELATION 7    

Note: In chapter 6, we saw the first 6 seals broken by the Lamb of God. On the 6th seal, there was a great earthquake and men were begging rocks to fall on them and hide them from the wrath of God.
  1. After this, what did John see the 4 angels doing at the 4 corners of the earth? vs. 1
  2. What was the purpose of them holding back the 4 winds? vs. 1
  3. John saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God. What did he cry out with a loud voice to the 4 angels about to harm the earth and sea? vs. 2,3
  4. John heard the number of those who were to be sealed. What was the number and who were they? vs.4
  5. Name the names of the 12 sons of Israel that represented the 12 tribes of Israel in which 12,000 were sealed and would not be harmed? vs.5-8 - Name 12
  6. After the 144,000 were sealed, what did John see standing before the throne and before the Lamb? vs. 9
  7. How were they clothed and what was in their hands? vs. 9
  8. What did they cry out with a loud voice? vs. 10
  9. Who fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God at that time? vs. 11 - Name 3 groups
  10. What words did they use to bless God with? vs. 12 - Name 8
  11. One of the elders asked John if he knew who these clothed in white were and where they had come from. (vs.13)..John said "My lord, you know"...What did he then tell John? vs. 14
  12. How did their robes become white? vs. 14
  13. Because they have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, what do they do before the throne of God day and night in God's temple? vs. 15
  14. What will God do for them? vs.15
  15. We are told: "they will hunger no longer ... nor thirst anymore...nor will the sun beat down on them....nor any heat....(vs.16)..Who will be their shepherd? vs. 17a
  16. Where will the Lamb guide them to? vs. 17b
  17. What will God do for them? vs. 17c
  18. What a joy to know how so many will be there to worship the Lord from every nation and every tongue. How wonderful to know that when our suffering is over, we will be comforted and cared for and never suffer again forever and ever. Have you been washed in the blood of the Lamb? Thank the Lord for the future that He has prepared for you, as the Lamb will shepherd you and lead you to springs of the water of life and God will wipe away every tear you have shed. Glory \o/
