What In chapter 8, we saw the first 4 trumpets sound of the 7 that were given to 7 angels. An eagle has said "woe, woe, woe" to the 3 trumpets still to come. We will understand as we look at chapter 9 and the 2 trumpets we are shown next.

  33. These people still could have turned from their idols and worshiped God, but rather than turn to Him for help and deliverance, they continued in their disbelief and stubborn ways. Their idols could not see or hear or walk, but the Lord could see them, hear them, and longed to walk with them. What idols have you turned away from? Are you walking with God today? Who is on your heart to pray for today?
