I know from our years in Precept, we have looked at the Greek tense of the verbs and we know this is speaking about the fact that a true believer has died to themselves and they will live with Christ. We also know that a true believer will endure because of the Holy Spirit's presence, which is covered in the book of Hebrews, the perseverance of the saints. As true believers, we will not deny Him, and although we might be faithless at times, we have the assurance that He will remain faithful and never deny Himself or His promises to us.
