Genesis Worksheet - Chapter 41

Genesis Chapter 41

In yesterday's reading, we saw that Joseph was put in charge of the two prisoners of Pharaoh, the cupbearer to the king and also the chief baker to the king.  They both had dreams they could not interpret.

Joseph interpreted them but gave all the credit to God, not himself.  He asked that the cupbearer remember him before the king since he had been put in prison for false accusations and was innocent.

The cupbearer did not remember him.

Now it is two full years later....

1.  At the end of two full years from the time that Joseph had interpreted the cupbearer's dream and it had come true that he (the cupbearer) got out and was back in service to Pharaoh .... Pharoah had a dream himself that he was standing by the Nile River.
