1. Who was the king of Gerar? vs. 2 -
2. Once again, like the time in Egypt, at the beginning of his journey, Abraham feared for his life.
What did he tell the king regarding Sarah, his wife? vs. 2 -

What did God reveal to Abimelech that night in a dream? vs. 3 -
God intervened to spare the mother of the promised offspring, Issac. Abimelech made his case of innocence before God:

The Lord knew the integrity of Abimelech's heart, and he protected him from doing something he would later regret.
Integrity of Heart: Integrity means "moral uprightness". Because Abimelech had a moral and upright heart, God's protection was with him.

Confrontation & Prayer:
Abimelech restores Abraham's wife to him untouched and Abraham prays for Abimelech. Abimelech confronts Abraham of his deceitfulness and Abraham confessed his own fear.

Abimelech confronted Abraham's sin and Abraham confessed his weakness. This is a beautiful exchange that has a wonderful ending of prayer and blessings!

We need to remember that when we wrong someone, even if we didn't have all the facts, we need to make restitution to them. We need to make things right between us. Stop and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anyone to you that you need to make things right with. Remember, blessings follow obedience! God is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him and obey.
